Patek Philippe Opens New Boutique In Singapore
Patek Philippe celebrated the opening of the brand’s largest boutique in South East Asia (SEA) at ION Orchard. The new boutique is part of a partnership with Singapore’s luxury retailer Cortina Watch.
Earlier this month, on April 5th, over 100 guests were invited to be part of this momentous occasion, which was marked by an official ribbon cutting ceremony and a gala dinner at the Salt Grill and Sky Bar.
The opening ceremony was officiated by Patek Philippe Commercial and Marketing Director Jerome Pernici, together with the Chief Executive Officer of Cortina Watch, Anthony Lim, General Manager of Geneva Master Time Marketing LLP, Deepa Chatrath and ION Orchard’s Chief Executive Officer Chris Chong.
The newly remodeled boutique features an all-new architectural concept that conveys the brand’s identity in an enlarged space that spans a little over 265 square meters. The new space is the largest Patek Philippe boutique in South East Asia.
Representing Patek Philippe, Pernici said, “On behalf of the Stern Family, we are very proud to celebrate the opening of the new Cortina ION Boutique. This is a significant milestone in Patek Philippe’s collaboration with the Lim Family and we are grateful for their continuous support. The new boutique will raise our brand’s profile in Singapore and we are delighted with the outcome.”
Patek Philippe and Cortina Watch have maintained a beautiful partnership over several decades. “This boutique is the fruit of a relationship that spans over 2 generations, one that was started by Mr. Philippe Stern and Mr. Anthony Lim some 40 years ago and one that together with Mr. Thierry Stern, Mr. Raymond Lim and myself will upkeep and improve on for the next generation. This relationship holds special meaning to the two families and extends beyond a manufacture and retailer relationship. It holds trust and mutual respect between the families and business,” added Jeremy Lim.
Pernici also said, “Singapore is a major market for the Stern Family and this boutique will be the perfect showcase for Patek Philippe’s timepieces. We are proud of our 44 years of partnership with the Lim Family, who have been instrumental in the development of our brand in Southeast Asia. On behalf of the 2000 people who work for Patek Philippe in Switzerland, we thank each and every one of you for your boundless support.”
