Earlier this year, the South East Asian watch retailer proudly announced their new and exclusive partnership with F.P.Journe, the highly acclaimed independent watchmaker. The very first Espace F.P.Journe was launched and housed on the upper floor of Malmaison. The launch also marked François-Paul Journe’s first trip to  Singapore since 2011.

“We are honored to embark on this new partnership with an accomplished independent watch manufacture such as F.P. Journe. With our shared vision and passion for horological craftsmanship, we are certain this will help us continue shaping Singapore’s horological appreciation and culture,” comments Wong Mei Ling, Managing Director of The Hour Glass.

For more than three decades, Journe has been ‘inventing’ watches. His goal is singular: to make each mechanical timepiece as accurate as possible. Armed with this philosophy, the maison of haute horology draws on Journe’s expertise to face the most daring horological challenges, with timeless consistency in innovation. Each and every timepiece is a handcrafted limited edition. Journe’s expertise in crafting out-of-the ordinary watches sets the brand apart.

From the outstanding Grand Sonnerie, the ultra slim Répétition Souveraine, the emblematic Chronomètre à Résonance or Chronomètre Optimum, to the remarkable Octa automatic caliber with a 5 days power reserve, F.P. Journe’s exceptional heritage of luxury watches have gained the respect of watch aficionados and international watch juries alike.
