Harrods Introduces The Maurice Lacroix Materspiece Gravity “Harrods Exclusive Limited Edition”
With Christmas in its sights, Harrods has introduced a special edition Maurice Lacroix Materspiece Gravity, limited to only three pieces.
Sound familiar? That’s because the luxury brand unveiled a similar collaboration with Maurice Lacroix, based on the same model, this time last year.
That timepiece, a stainless steel Materspiece Gravity with gold mainplate and white lacquer dial, must have been a hit because Harrods are back with a new watch. This time, the new Harrods Exclusive Limited Edition features a stainless steel mainplate with “Côtes de Genève” decoration, and a blue sub dial developed by the brand for its 40th anniversary collection.
Introduced in 2014, the Masterpiece Gravity is an interesting – and very successful – mix of tradition and innovation. Several iterations of the Masterpiece Gravity have been launched since, including this very contemporary PVD-coated version.
Developed in-house, it features a silicium assortment – the first of its kind – an off-center hour and minutes display, and a small seconds display at 5 o’clock.
Presented on a striking arrangement of textured sub-dials, the Masterpiece Gravity perfectly exploits the depth created by its domed “glass-box” sapphire crystal. Meanwhile, Calibre ML230 can – and most definitely should – be viewed from the exhibition case back.
The Maurice Lacroix Materspiece Gravity “Harrods Excluisive Limited Edition” is a limited edition of three pieces, priced at £ 9,350.
