Hublot Releases Red Dot Bang In Singapore
In celebration of Hublot’s Big Bang 10th Anniversary which coincides with Singapore’s 50th Golden Jubilee year, the brand unveiled a set of Hublot “Red Dot” Bang limited editions, exclusive to Singapore: A “Red Dot” Bang Hublonium (limited to 50 pieces), and a “Red Dot” Bang in yellow gold, limited to 10 pieces. Both bear an inscription and the logo of The Hour Glass, the leading watch retailer in Singapore, on their casebacks.
Shown for the first time in Singapore as well is the Big Bang Linen Pink Gold with red spinels and Big Bang Linen Natural Gold with diamonds. Composite resin and linen ladies timepieces with satin-coated rubber strap make a bold statement, with feminine elements.
Finally on display is the impressive Hublot Masterpiece MP-05 “La Ferrari” with diamonds, which is actually a piece already sold to a Hublot-connoisseur in South East Asia.
The Art of Fusion is a philosophy that is close to the Swiss watchmaker’s world. Hublot’s love of the arts and sports brought a very special type of Mexican wrestling to Singapore. The central attraction of the temporary watch boutique is its large wresting ring standing at its core. The people of Singapore enjoyed watching and even participating in workshops of Lucha Libre (free-wrestling), which is a traditional sport steeped in the history and culture of Mexico, which is characterized by wrestlers wearing colourful face-masks, and ‘high-flying’ moves.
“This latest installment is a mark of The Hour Glass’s commitment to continue growing Hublot’s presence in our region – making it one of our biggest and most important to date,” reveals Michael Tay, Group Managing Director of The Hour Glass Limited, about Hublot’s largest pop-up store in the world.
