New Girard-Perregaux 1966 Chronograph 42 mm Boasts Larger Case, Same Classic Design
The all-new Girard-Perregaux 1966 Chronograph 42 mm has new proportions, guaranteed performance, perfect readability, a 42 mm case to make room for shorter time period measurements, and a new dial that further enhances the timepiece’s functionality.
The Girard-Perregaux 1966 has established itself as one of the brand’s icons, and the larger diameter was designed in response to client demands. Although the size of the case has increased, the piece maintains its pure lines, curve and horns that are carefully designed to hug the wrist.
The silver-plated dial proposes the date at 6 o’clock, and with an elegant central second hand circling above it, the dial presents a tachymetric scale on its external circumference, highlighting its technical character.
The leaf-shaped hour and minute hands indicate the applied Arabic numerals in pink gold, and behind the scenes, a Girard-Perregaux manufactured self- winding mechanical movement is at work. The watch is equipped with a power reserve of more than 46 hours, and it boasts an oscillating weight in engraved pink gold, visible through the transparent case back.
