Inside the Haute Time Collectors Dinner with Audemars Piguet and Louis XIII
The elegant Haute Time Collectors Dinner took place Friday, March 13 at 66 E. 11th Street In New York City to celebrate the stunning Audemars Piguet watches that debuted at SIHH 2015. The luxurious setting at the exclusive $40 million townhouse made the gorgeous presentations all the more dazzling.
The event was held in conjunction with Audemars Piguet and Louis XIII. The dinner had everything a watch connoisseur lives for: a sumptuous dinner, cognac cocktails provided by Louis XIII, and an insider look at Audemars Piguet’s most luxurious timepieces from past and present.
Yves de Launay, Vice-President of Prestige Brands at Remy Cointreau, proposed a toast with Louis XIII, a Remy Cointreau brand. During the “Legacy Experience,” de Launay presented the engaging history of the Louis XIII brand.
During the enlightening presentation, guests were able to taste to their hearts content.
Next up, Xavier Nolot, Audemars Piguet’s North American CEO, presented some of brand’s newest pieces from SIHH 2015, and mapped out the future of the brand’s amazing timepieces.
Michael Friedman, Audemars Piguet’s Chief Historian, also discussed the history of the brand, and explained the genesis of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak and its evolution through today. Friedman also presented several AP museum pieces for guests to feast their eyes on.
After the two fantastic presentations, guests were brought upstairs for dinner and wine, and one last toast proposed with Louis XIII.
Many notable guests came out for the event: son of Bob Marley and owner of Marley Coffee, Rohan Marley; New York’s club maestro DJ Cassidy; Haute Time publisher Seth Semilof; Yellow Cab SLS Management Corp CEO Simon Garber; music industry executive and entertainment lawyer Doug Davis; fashion designer Domenico Vacca; and actor Joseph Sikora, who all soaked in the scene and luxury of the event.
