The Big Bang Ferrari Watch by Hublot and Ferrari Makes Public Debut

Hublot and Ferrari have joined forces to create a collectible wristwatch. This month in Suzuka City, Mie Perfecture in Japan, the Big Bang Ferrari wristwatch was formally introduced at the Ferrari Racing Days Suzuka 2012 at the Suzuka International Racing Course. The dual-luxury brand was showcased at a small, exclusive media gathering earlier in March in Switzerland at Baselworld 2012. Jean-Claude Biver, the ever-effervescent Chairman of Hublot, flew to Japan for the debut.

Ferrari Racing Dazy Suzuka 2012 is one of Ferrari’s largest sponsored events. Appealing to both owners and enthusiasts of the Italian supercar manufacturer, it was a three-day, special automotive gathering that attracted people from all over the world and Asia. During the Ferrari Racing Days in Suzuka, the first round of the Formula One Asia-Pacific Series Challenge Trofeo Pirelli occurred, as did the Concorso d’Eleganza. The Concorso d’Eleganza is one of the prized events of the weekend, showcasing 18 classic cars from the 1950s and 160s. The event was supported by Hublot. In addition to the Concorso d’Eleganza, hundreds of Ferraris were put on display.

The Big Bang Ferrari is available in two different models, gold and titanium. The chronograph wrist watch is self-winding and measures 45 millimeters. It comes with a black leather gumm strap complete with black rubber.
