Hublot Opens Pop-Up Gallery in Switzerland
Hublot is getting artistic! This week the luxury watchmaker teamed up with the Boutique Michaud Hublot, the W and the Société Les Trois Rocs to open a pop-up gallery in Verbier, Switzerland.
The gallery, which is located in the resort town’s Place Blanche, will display the work of young Swiss artist Louisa Gagliardi, who joined Jean-Claude Biver, Hublot President and President of the LVMH Group Watch Division, at the unveiling.
Also in attendance were Hublot’s partners in creating the pop-up, Pierre-Henri Bovsovers, Manager of W Verbier, Daniel von Wyss and Pyret Renvall, President and Vice President of the Société Trois Rocs, Bertrand Deslarzes, district of Bagnes Ambassador for Culture, Joël Sciboz, Manager of the Verbier Tourist Office, Pierre-André Gremaud, Manager of Tourism Promotion for Verbier/Val de Bagnes/La Tzoumaz, Jean-Pierre Morand, President of Téléverbier SA, and Eric Balet, Manager of Téléverbier SA to name but a few.
Biver, whose idea it was to create the pop-up, commented, “Delighted to help promote not only Switzerland, Valais and Verbier, but also a young Swiss artist. I have always believed that we have a duty to promote the “swissmade” ideal, which goes further than just timepieces.”
The exhibition will run until the end of the season.
