Carmelo Anthony Haute Time Watch of the Day: Montblanc Meisterstück Heritage Pulsograph
Montblanc has created an entire watch collection as a tribute to one of the world’s most iconic writing instruments, the Montblanc Meisterstück. The movement, manual-wound caliber MB M13.21 is a monopusher chronograph, which can be seen through the back of the 18k rose gold case. It was inspired by the prestigious Caliber 13.20 of its sister brand, Minerva, which was first fabricated in 1923. The pulsometer measures brief intervals and was popular among physicians for reading pulse rates per minute. The dial is silvery white with a sunburst pattern, gold-plated markers and dauphine hands. The pen collection of the same name was originally introduced in 1924. Meisterstück is the German word for “masterpiece.”
