Zenith Watches to be Auctioned for Good Cause
This week The Food Network’s South Beach Wine & Food Festival kicked off, and we spotted some Zenith watches on their online auction.
Proceeds from the auction will go toward student scholarships and teaching facilities at Florida International University’s Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management Teaching Restaurant and its Southern Wine and Spirits Beverage Management Center.
Check out the two timepieces:
Zenith El Primero 36’000 VpH
El Primero, “The First” in Esperanto. This 42mm stainless steel timepiece features hours and minutes, a red central chronograph hand, a tachometric scale, a small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock, a 12 hour subdial at 6 o’clock and a 30 minute subdial at 3 o’clock, as well as a big date window at 6 o’clock. It is completed by a black alligator leather strap.
Zenith Pilot Big Date Special
Part of the brand’s famous Pilot collection, this 42mm stainless steel timepiece was inspired by the onboard instruments that Zenith used to make in the early days of aeronautics. The matte black dial features hours and minutes, a central chronograph hand, a small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock, a 30 minute subdial at 3 o’clock, as well as a big date window at 6 o’clock. It is completed by a brown calfskin strap.
