Hublot Unveils Ray Allen Limited Edition Collection
Luxury watchmaker Hublot has dedicated three unique timepieces to NBA superstar Ray Allen. The manufacture created the Ray Allen Limited Edition Collection, comprised of three 1-piece limited edition watches, to raise funds for diabetes research through the Miami Heat shooting guard’s Ray of Hope Foundation.
Ray and his wife Shannon will join Hublot for the Ray Allen Limited Edition Collection’s official unveiling at a special event at the Hublot Bal Harbour Boutique in Miami on January 22. In the meantime, here’s your first look:
This titanium King Power Ray Allen watch features the Miami Heat logo at 3 o’clock on the dial, a red 48-minute hand (the duration of a basketball game) and Allen’s jersey number 34 on the white leather strap. The dial also features gold hour and minute hands, a white central chronograph seconds hand and a date window between 4 and 5 o’clock. The sapphire crystal caseback features Ray’s engraved signature and is numbered 01/01.
This titanium Classic Fusion Ray Allen features the same strap and caseback signature as the previous model, but the dial is openworked. The dial features titanium hour and minute hands and a red central chronograph hand. The dial also features two subdials and an off-centre ring which indicates the date through a window at 6 o’clock.
This titanium Big Bang Ray Allen once again features the same strap and caseback signature as the previous models, but the bezel is set with diamonds. The dial features titanium hour and minute hands, as well as a red central chronograph hand. The dial also features three subdials and a date window between 4 and 5 o’clock.
