Carmelo Anthony’s Haute Time Watch of the Day: Jaeger Le-Coultre Duometre Unique Travel Time
Today’s Haute Time Watch of the Day is The Duometre Unique Travel Time by Jaeger-LeCoultre.
From SIHH 2014, comes a revolutionary preview of a world-time watch which enables travelers to keep track of time in the second time-zone, to the minute, despite the time difference. Jaeger-LeCoultre uses a new mechanical manually wound Calibre 383 movement featuring a mechanism divided into two separate mechanisms, one for the local time and the other for the second time zone. Each mechanism is powered by their own source, increasing the precision of the watch.
The case of The Duometre Unique Travel is 42mm and created in Pink gold. The beautifully grained, silver-toned dial shows the Home Time hours and minutes and the 2nd time zone in jumping digital display along with minutes and a world map. The Unique Travel features a 50 hour power reserve for each mechanism and two indicators as well.
Fitted with a black alligator leather strap and matching pink gold pin buckle, The Duometre Unique Travel by Jaeger-LeCoultre is a perfect example of originality and 180 years of watchmaking history.
