Carmelo Anthony’s Haute Time Watch of the Day: Cartier Astrotourbillon

Today’s Haute Time Watch of the Day is the Astrotourbillon by Cartier.

Launched at this year’s SIHH, The Rotonde de Cartier Astrotourbillon adapted features from the Cartier ID One Concept watch to create the Astrotourbillon movement.

Powered by a Cartier 9460 MC movement, the Astrotourbillon complication’s tourbillon carriage and escapement are created from carbon crystal. The case is 47 mm in diameter and created from Niobium-titanium and a signature cabochon to finish the crown. The dial is an attractive slate-gray, satin-finished and with black roman numerals and sword shaped hands.

The Cartier Astrotourbillon is water-resistant to 30 meters and equipped with a 48-hour power reserve. Fitted with a black alligator skin strap with double deployant buckle.

The Astrotourbillon is part of a numbered edition, limited to 50 pieces.
