Haute Yacht of the Week: Prince Abdulaziz
For a long time, 22 years to be exact, the Prince Abdulaziz was the longest and tallest motor yacht in the world. She has a length of 147 meters and is regarded today as the largest luxury yacht of the 20th century.
The first owner was the King of Saudi Arabia Fahd of Saudi Arabia. After his death in 2005 ownership passed to his half brother Abdullah ibn Abd al-Aziz.
The yacht was designed by Maierform and built in 1984 by Helsingør Værft in Denmark. The interior designer was David Nightingale Hicks.
