Carmelo Anthony’s Haute Time Watch of the Day: Bovet Recital 9 Tourbillon Miss Alexandra
Today’s Haute Time Watch of the Day is The Recital 9 Tourbillon Miss Alexandra by Bovet. The Recital was first launched by Bovet in 2011 with the launch of Recital 0, which was the first Bovet ladies timepiece with a tourbillon movement. This year Bovet presents the Recital 9, a beautiful exhibition of feminine style with watchmaking mastery to create a most amazing timepiece.
The Recital 9 Tourbillon Miss Alexandra is available in either 18k white red or white gold, with a 41 mm oval case. The movement is a mechanical, hand-wound calibre 15BM01-MP movement. Functions of this piece include hours, minutes, precision moon phase and a 7 day power reserve.
The beautiful dial of Recital 9 Tourbillon Miss Alexandra seems to smile at first glance, thanks to the large bridges and tourbillon carriage. Instead of the usual seconds hand on a dial, Bovet uses a diamond with facets that rotate and reflect light across the polished surface of the movement on the dial. Each hour, the minutes hand meets the hours hand and together they form the shape of a heart. The moon-phase is a realistic and beautiful interpretation on this timepiece as well, using hand engraving and fine detailing to create an amazing design.
The Recital Tourbillon Miss Alexandra is fitted with a beautiful hand-stitched full skin alligator strap with an 18k gold ardillon buckle, completing this exhibition of an ultra-feminine design and a grand complication created by Bovet.
