Linde Werdelin Unveils Oktopus II Titanium Red
Today we’re taking a close up look at a new limited edition version of luxury watchmaker Linde Werdelin’s iconic Oktopus timepiece, the Oktopus II Titanium Red.
The Oktopus II Titanium Red begins with a titanium case with satin finish, a black ceramic bezel and a titanium-color dial. The 2-layer dial features a laser-cut octopus in stencil technique on the top layer, with circular Côtes de Genève finish resembling water ripples on the bottom layer. The dial also features red detailing, with a big date in double wheels powered by a custom-made Dubois Depraz automatic movement. The theme is continued on the caseback, which features an engraving of an octopus drawing by Morten Linde, and the crown, which features an engraved octopus symbol.
Only 88 pieces of the Oktopus II Titanium Red will be created, and they will retail for CHF10,200 (approximately US$11,000).
