Carmelo Anthony’s Haute Time Watch of the Day: Chopard L.U.C. Engine One H

Today’s Haute Time Watch of the Day selected by Carmelo Anthony is the L.U.C. Engine One H by Chopard.

Recently introduced as a Preview of what’s to come from the 2013 BaselWorld show, this piece is a follow up to the Chopard L.U.C. Engine One Tourbillon which was released by Chopard a few years ago, with more of a vertical dial appearance.

The L.U.C. Engine One H features an in-house manufacture Caliber LUC 04.02-L manual-wind movement housed in a titanium 44.5 mm case with sapphire crystal and case back.  The dial features hours and minutes, a seconds hand on the tourbillon cage and a power reserve gauge which is very similar to a fuel gauge (Full – Empty) at the nine o’ clock position on the dial.  Chopard brings together all of the elements of fine watchmaking, style and of course driving in this new release.

The L.U.C. Engine One H is shown on a beautiful black leather strap and is part of a Limited Collection of 100 pieces released by Chopard.
