Cvstos Toast New Timepieces With Watch Connoisseurs in Miami
Last month, luxury watchmakers Cvstos hosted a private dinner to toast their most important clients and watch connoisseurs in Miami. Sassoun Sirmakes, the Global CEO of Cvstos, welcomed about twenty-five guests at The Forge.
During the dinner, Sirmakes presented the Swiss company’s most recent timepieces, including the Yachting Tourbillon, Jet-Liner Carbon and Jet-Liner Daedalus. This was the first chance for fans of the haute horlogerie manufacture to see the highly-anticipated timepieces since their launch a few months ago during the annual World Presentation of Haute Horologerie in Monaco.
One of our favorites from the new pieces showcased by Sirmakes is the Jet-Liner Carbon. With a 53.70mm x 41mm x 13.35mm tonneau-shaped case, this is a beautifully futuristic take on a classic look. Comprised of titanium, steel or red gold, the case boasts an open sapphire crystal caseback fastened with polished titanium Grade-5 screws with an exclusive Cvstos pattern. Its dial boasts arabic numbers with Super Luminova-treated indexes and hands. Inside, the Jet-Liner Carbon runs on a CVS350 skeletonised, automatic winding movement with a rhodiated, black plasma or black rhodium treatment for grey titanium. The 42-hour power reserve calibre works at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. A carbon strap finishes the look on this Swiss-made timepiece.
Since its debut in 2005, Cvstos have had the watch world buzzing with their bold, high-tech timepieces. Always ahead of the trends, Cvstos watches have become one of the most collectable pieces in the industry.
