Exclusive Video of Jaeger-LeCoultre and Aston Martin’s AMVOX7 Chronograph
Haute watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre and luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin are celebrating their eighth anniversary as partners with the presentation of the AMVOX7, a timepiece considered to be a vision of the future as it the first vertical trigger watch that is outfitted with a radial power-reserve display.
The new chronograph has all of the features of the iconic AMVOX collection, but is in a more ergonomically shaped case and is a testament to the avant-garde spirit of the Jaeger-LeCoultre/ Aston Martin partnership. The watch is also inspired by and dedicated to the esthetic and technical innovations that the prestigious United Kingdom car maker is famed for.
The AMVOX line is a collection that has aficionados from both the world of fine watchmaking and the world of precision performance sports for almost a decade. Racing driver for Aston Martin Darren Turner wears an AMVOX1, racing driver Adrian Fernandez wears an AMVOX2, chairman of Aston Martin David Richards also wears an AMVOX2, and Spanish tennis player Feliciano Lopez wears an AMVOX5.
The technical aspects of the timepiece are also outstanding; featuring a power reserve of 65 hours, the watch also contains the Jaeger-LeCoultre 756 automatic mechanical caliber and boasts of a frequency of 28,000 vibrations per hour. The partnership between the two companies has resulted in technical innovations that will delight sports fans and chronograph collectors, and the collaboration shows no signs of slowing down.
