Ulysse Nardin Is The Official Watch & Timekeeping Partner Of Blade
Last week, luxury Swiss watchmaker, Ulysse Nardin, announced its latest partnership with renowned technology-powered global air mobility platform Blade. As Blade’s exclusive watch and timekeeping partner, Ulysse Nardin will be included in Blade’s mobile application, newsletters and confirmation communications, and a presence at exclusive Blade events and in Blade’s exclusive lounge network and terminal infrastructure.
And, for the first time ever, Ulysse Nardin is the presenting partner of Blade’s departure countdown clock, which will inform fliers of the next departing Blade flight on Blade’s mobile application and website.

“Our partnership with Blade is a natural one. Blade combines a precise level of detail-oriented experience with time-effective transportation alternatives, which is exactly what our customers value,” says François-Xavier Hotier, President of Ulysse Nardin North America. “As a watch brand that caters to explorers, innovators and visionaries, we embrace and serves the same adventurous spirit of Blade fliers.”

Ulysse Nardin is known for its bespoke manufacturing and high-quality watchmaking inspired by the ocean, ultimately producing timepieces for explorers in pursuit of freedom; thus, this partnership is a further testament to the brand’s dedication to its favorite environment and the spirit of exploration.
“Air travel is about exploration and freedom, and these are core tenets in UN’s DNA.” added Jeffrey Brenner, Blade’s Head of Global Partnerships. “Ulysse Nardin is a synergistic fit with our company’s brand and vision. Similar to Ulysse Nardin’s commitment to ocean conservation through the re-purposing and incorporation of recovered fishing nets and other plastic waste into their product line, Blade is committed to our transition to lower-cost, quiet and emission-free Electric Vertical Aircraft in the near future, as well as the carbon-neutral footprint of our urban air mobility business today.”
