Kross Studio and Warner Bros. Consumer Products Announce Release of “Space Jam: A New Legacy” Tourbillion Watch

Warner Bros. Consumer Products collaborated with the Swiss design studio, Kross Studio, to release a 10-piece collector set in celebration of the animated and live-action “Space Jam: A New Legacy” movie. The set includes a Space Jam Tourbillion watch and an interactive basketball sculpture incorporating performance, technique, style, and the blending of childhood memory and Swiss design.

Kross Studio created a luxurious, sophisticated wristwatch that doubles as a functional art object. Reflected in the design are four words: basketball, horology, art, and Looney Tunes. The watch pushes the limits of performance and technical prowess in every element and detail while merging childhood nostalgia of the Looney Tunes legacy.

Produced fully in-house by Kross Studio, the 3 Hz KS 7’000 caliber watch embodies sporty street style and precise technical skills. The watch includes 281 handmade parts to offer an unmatched fine-tuned finish. The design includes a mechanical hand-wound movement with an oversized barrel that has a 5-day power reserve. The regulator is centered in a tourbillon cage on top of the barrel. The highly detailed components reflect basketball in and off the court with even the wheels designed to look like basketballs and the hour hand turning into a free-throw lane.

No “Dream Team” Tunes Squad member is overlooked with each character engraved on the fixed hour wheel including Bugs Bunny, Lola Bunny, Daffy Duck, Road Runner, Tweety, Sylvester, Marvin the Martian, Yosemite Sam, Granny, Taz, Speedy Gonzales, Elmer Fudd, and Wile E. Coyote. The parts are enclosed in a 45mm titanium case with a sapphire crystal dome.

Owners can wind and set the time through the “D-ring crown” and “Time Set” push-button placed on the edge of the watch. This system permits design symmetry, comfort, and faster winding. The collectors set includes an interchangeable deep blue calfskin leather strap and a basketball color and texture laser abraded rubber strap.

The collectors’ set includes a stand-alone wood and aluminum-designed basketball that celebrates basketball culture. The watch can be stored in the sculpture’s center by lifting the ball upward from its pedestal. Included in the set is a limited edition of 10 numbered artwork pieces encased in a wood crate, with its owner’s book, its certificate of authenticity, and art handling gloves.
