Watches & Wonders Miami Returns To Design District Following SIHH 2019

Watches & Wonders Miami will return to the illustrious Miami Design District for its second annual event in partnership with the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie on Presidents’ Day Weekend. The luxury event will follow the annual SIHH 2019 in Geneva where the world’s greatest watch and jewelry Maisons will debut their newest pieces. The event will take place before Baselworld 2019, so guests in the U.S. will get a sneak-peek of what’s to come from the grand Swiss event.

This year, Watches & Wonders Miami will showcase 29 of the top Maisons in the world including returning A. Lange & Söhne, Audemars Piguet, Bvlgari, Cartier, F.P. Journe, Hublot, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Kari Voutilainen, Louis Vuitton, Panerai, Piaget, Romain Gauthier, RJ, TAG Heuer, Vacheron Constantin and Van Cleef & Arpels. In addition, newcomers include De Bethune, Dior, Girard Perregaux, H. Moser & Cie., HYT, OMEGA, Roger Dubuis, Speake-Marin, Tiffany & Co., Ulysse Nardin, Zenith and Turkish jeweler Sevan Biçakç.

Watches & Wonders Miami will give watch enthusiasts and collectors access to a first preview of the brand’s newest collections, as well as witness the launch of new products and concepts. Highlights of this year’s event include Piaget‘s U.S. reveal of its record-breaking Altiplano Concept timepiece, which is the thinnest in the world. Dior will unveil a new personalization service for its Dior Grand Bal Watch, which grants the customers with an interactive experience of designing their own made-to-measure timepieces. Always merging the brand’s tagline, ‘Art of Fusion’, into its events, Hublot will have thought-provoking artwork on display inside and outside of the boutique from renowned artist Michael Moebius. Additionally, Ulysse Nardin CEO Patrick Pruniaux is expected to attend the Watches & Wonders Miami exhibition and host the launch of a new watch from the brand’s alluring, millennial-centric X Collection.

In addition to exhibitions from the brands, the weekend will also feature conference and workshop offerings as well as trending topic panel discussions including ‘Can Women Save the Watch World,’ ‘Getting Your Super Collector All-Access Pass’ and more.

Once again, Watches & Wonders Miami will be partnering with the 31st Annual Miami Yacht Show, which will showcase 500 of the world’s most lust-worthy yachts and superyachts. Haute Living is a proud media partner of the yachting affair. In addition, Haute Living will also partner with the Miami Concours during Saturday and Sunday of Watches & Wonders Miami, where VIP guests can enjoy an exclusive collection of rare, vintage automobiles, sports and exotic cars in the Miami Design District—just steps away from the watch hub in Palm Court.
