Haute Time Watch of the Day: TAG Heuer Carrera MikrotourbillonS
Today’s selection for Haute Time’s Watch of the Day is the Carrera MikrotourbillonS by TAG Heuer. Known as the “world’s fastest tourbillon”, this timepiece is the first tourbillon to feature a 1/100th of a second chronograph that can be started and stopped. It is also the first Tourbillon chronograph capable of of certification level precision timing.
This extraordinary piece features a TAG Heuer MikrotourbillonS manufacture, automatic, chronograph movement with two Tourbillons. The dial of the MikrotourbillonS is anthracite with Cotes` de Geneve` finishing. There are two chronograph counters, one at the 3 o’clock position and the other at 6, counting minutes and seconds. The two tourbillons are visible on the dial as well, with solid rose gold bridges as well as solid 18k rose gold markers and accents.
The Carrera MikrotourbillonS case measures 45mm and is sandblasted tantalum and solid 18k rose gold. It is water resistant to 100m and features double anti-reflective sapphire crystals.
